The Story:
The Brinton Estate, the grounds currently known as Chaddsford Winery, has been a lot of things throughout its 250-year history: a wealthy manor, a blacksmith and saddlery, a prestigious auction house, a raucous nightclub, a secret society headquarters, an unsanctioned laboratory, and of course, an award-winning winery. While the property has reimagined itself many times over the last two centuries, the rumors about hidden treasure have endured, having been passed down from proprietor to proprietor. Legend says that William Brinton, the estate’s first resident, hid a treasure of “immeasurable value” deep within the confines of the “large red barn atop the hill.” Many have searched for this treasure – some have devoted their entire lives to the mystery – but no one has ever found it. Just recently, an employee at Chaddsford Winery discovered a secret room that served as a cache for every clue and puzzle associated with this fabled, hidden treasure. It is believed that the key to finding the treasure resides in these clues – and perhaps the room itself. You are a group of local wine-loving treasure hunters who recently received an anonymous tip about this secret room. Unable to resist, you visit the winery to solve the mystery and claim the treasure for yourselves. Will you succeed where so many have failed? Only time will tell!
FAQS:
Do I need to book in advance? We strongly recommend booking in anvacne. If available, we will offer day of, walk-up purchases, but cannot guarantee them. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU SELECT THE CORRECT LOCATION. We have two locations running the program, our main Winery location in Chadds Ford, PA and our Penn’s Purchase Tasting Room & Bottle Shop in Lahaska, PA.
Will my group be playing with others? The program intended for groups of 2 to 10 guests. To allow as many guests as possible to experience the program, we offer shared experiences. This means that multiple groups can book into the same game. If you would like to ensure a private experience, please make sure to book all available spots. If the available spots do not match the capacity, that means another group has already booked spots in this program.
Am I really going to be locked in a room? No. You will be in a room with a closed door (not locked.) Should you feel the need to leave the room, you are welcome to do so at any time.
How early should I arrive? Please arrive 30 minutes before your time for check-in. All tickets include one (1) complimentary beverage that you can enjoy either before or after the program. Late arrivals could affect the amount of time you have to experience the program.
What is your cancellation policy? Unfortunately, tickets are non-refundable. Please make sure you select the correct date and time before purchasing. Tickets are transferable. If you can’t make it, feel free to give your ticket to a friend.
Is there an age requirement? We are a Winery and really prefer that all attendees are 21 or older. However, we will allow younger players to participate if accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please note, younger players must purchase a ticket to participate and count towards the 10-person maximum in the room.

Can we bring food or drinks into the game? We ask that no food is taken into the room. Guests can bring a glass of wine or beverage into the room with them, but outside alcohol is strictly prohibited.
